“During my watch as an officer on the USS Samuel N Moore DD747 I came within seconds of certain death on three occasions. Jack Kennedy in approving OPERATION DOMINIC (JUN 1962 – Nuclear Tests in the Pacific) allowed an ASROC MISSEL to be detonated some 6,000 yards on an epicenter 6000 yards from the Bridge on which I had the watch with no protective clothing.
